GREEN PROJECT is a community-led initiative based in Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kakuma 3, Zone 2, Block 8, Kenya. The initiative focuses on food security, sustainable agriculture, practical skills development, community cooperation and peacebuilding.
Green Project works to empower vulnerable families, women and youth through small-scale vegetable farming, sack gardens, poultry activities and community-led initiatives.

Shared plots and cooperative farming bring host community members and refugee families together around a common, practical goal. Working the same soil, sharing tools and exchanging knowledge builds everyday trust — the kind that reduces tension and strengthens peaceful coexistence in Kakuma.
